How every price is worked out
weight in grams × today's rate per gram for its karat + making charge = price
Today's rates are set every morning, Manila time, with a separate rate per gram for 14K, 18K, 21K and 22K gold. Higher karats hold more pure gold (fineness 585, 750, 875 and 916 parts per thousand, as on the hallmark), so they cost more per gram.
When you place an order its price is fixed at that day's rates, even if they move while you pay.
The making charge is a fixed amount per piece for the craft that goes into it. Prices include 12% VAT.

Fine gold should be bought the way it is sold to jewellers: by weight, by purity, at a stated rate.
Verified purity
Every piece lists its karat, fineness and exact weight in grams. Your order itemises the gold rate and making charge behind the price.
